Year 1 visited the STEAM space just before half term to find out all about how rockets launch into space, They tested out rockets of their own, asking and answering questions and finding ways to measure how high their rockets launched. It was impressive to see the different ideas that they came up with. Peggy Whitson was an inspiration, both for her record breaking time in space, as well as the space equipment that she used!
