The Road by Cormac McCarthy is a 2006 post-apocalyptic novel. It follows the journey of a father and son who travel along a road in hopes to find a safer place and escape from an area of scarcity and cannibals. McCarthy never says what causes this apocalypse, what causes the world to lead people to be so desperate for survival they have to eat other humans, but many theories on what could have caused it have been presented.

Your Best American Girl by Japanese-American musician Mitski is, according to Pitchfork, one of the best songs of the last decade. An autobiographical, insightful look into self-acceptance and what it means to actually be American, the indie punk rock song stands out in her discography.
Science vs Marketing: Did Oxford jump the gun on their vaccine press release?

However you feel about Mondays, it cannot be denied that the past three have been an exciting time for the world of immunology. On Monday 23rd November, for the third Monday in a row, we received news of another promising anti-COVID-19 vaccine trial. This time it was Oxford University and the British-Swedish pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca hailing the good news. The press release announced that their vaccine was 70% effective against COVID-19, drawing from Phase 2 and 3 trials in Britain and Brazil.
