I know you’ve all been waiting for the exciting second instalment of SLT interviews and this week I interviewed the wonderful Community Action Team (excluding the house captains, but do not fear they will be getting their own exclusive interview in the coming weeks). So, without further ado, let’s get to know Anna and Sharanya (Heads of Charities, Partnerships and Philanthropy) and Emilia Beevor (Head of the Charter).
Head girl interview
Heading off into a new year is always daunting, so, to ease the transition and to follow the footsteps of those before me, I have taken it upon myself (any implication that these interviews might be a hardship is entirely unintended, I have never met a more lovely group of people in my life), to interview all the members of the SLT in order to understand them and their aspirations a little better. And who better to start with then our wonderful Head Girl, Emma Hamilton.
Deputy-Head girl team interview
Not one to break tradition, I’ve been having discussions with the various members of the SLT teams in order to discuss their visions for the role and to get to know them a little bit better, so without further ado, I’ve decided to sit down with our wonderful deputy head girl team, Asqa, Katty and Gracie.
Interview with Jemma Green
Jemma Green is a former cricket coach, now working as a sports analyst – and this week I was lucky enough to interview her, asking about her sporting career, her views on the progress on women’s cricket and her love for the sport as a whole.
Lower School Spotlight: Interview with Panos Karnezis
I am Olivia Karnezis, and I will be interviewing my father Panos Karnezis, who is a professional author. He grew up in Greece and moved to England at the age of 25. He studied engineering at Oxford university, but after taking a creative writing course he decided his passion for books and writing was dominant and published his first book (written in English, despite Greek being his native language) in 2002 after 10 years of living in England.
