Is Government Intervention Ever Justified?
Across the world, governments intervene in many aspects of people’s lives, in a way in which individuals simply may not; they can collect taxes, draft people into the military and decide upon what is illegal and what is not. Governments intervene in society, the economy, in both domestic and international affairs. Yet the question remains: are such actions ever justified? In this essay I will argue yes, despite more libertarian arguments against government intervention, we can most certainly justify it.

Temporarily Able-bodied
One of the problems arising from talking about disability, is the assumption that it functions like other identities. This is not an unreasonable assumption, if you are fairly well versed in feminist issues, you can reasonably apply those ideas to trans rights issues, even if you don’t know that much about them. Disability identity is however more complicated, and without understanding these complexities having a proper discussion about ableism and inclusion is dead in the water.
