As you may have been able to tell through some of my emails, and if you know me in person, I love Starbucks because, in my opinion, one of their greatest assets is the limited-edition seasonal flavours they offer. Starbucks typically introduces winter, spring, summer, autumn, and festive collections each year and tends to feature the same or similar drinks each year. Naturally, I’ve tried all of the seasonal drinks of 2025 and compiled my list of the greatest flavours to look out for when they come in season again.
5 – Tiramisu – summer 👙🐚🏖️
Rating: 6.5/10
This, personally, did not stand out to me, but I’ve heard people rave about it. In my opinion, the concept of making a coffee flavoured like a coffee-flavoured dessert makes no sense, and I don’t know why they introduced it as a summer flavour, but objectively, it’s not bad. It’s kind of just a regular latte, but with some chocolate and extra cream, so a very safe choice. But, not as unique and interesting as some of the other flavours on this list, hence the 6.5/10.
4 – Lavender – spring 🪻🌿🌸
Rating: 8/10
This is when we get to the good stuff, because I thought these were sensational. The flavour was very delicate and I didn’t expect this to be good at all because it seemed like such a weird flavour pairing, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The lavender gave it a subtle sweetness which countered the acidity of the coffee perfectly. Also, the colour is very cute which gives it bonus points for the aesthetic. Though, I had to deduct 2 points because the flavour of the lavender isn’t very strong, so it ended up kind of tasting like a normal latte but with cute purple foam on top. Kind of forgettable, but still delicious.
3 – Gingerbread – festive 🎄🧦🎁
Rating: 9/10 🥉
Delicious. This is the perfect drink to cure that post-pumpkin spice disappointment because it still gives you the spiced flavour but in a more wintery, festive way. An extremely solid choice. No notes. I bought a whole bottle of the syrup because I couldn’t get enough.
2 – Pistachio – winter ❄️🧤☃️
Rating: 9.5/10 🥈
Absolutely sensational. These are on right now and I urge everyone to go to their local Starbucks and get one. The flavours go together so well, and (not to sound chronically online), but if you like Dubai Chocolate, you’ll love this. I feel this should’ve been on the spring menu rather than the winter menu, though. But regardless, Starbucks did their big one with this! Flavour-wise, my favourite Starbucks drink. But, I can’t give it a 10/10 because there’s only one Starbucks drink which deserves that title…

I know you saw this coming, but pumpkin spice genuinely cures my seasonal depression every year without fail. Objectively, this flavour is no better than pistachio in my opinion. But, the brand surrounding it makes it so iconic. Like, it has transcended coffee into candles, home scents, car scents, perfumes, body washes (and yes, I have bought all of them). Regardless of your opinions on the drink itself, this will forever be Starbucks’ most iconic flavour.
