With the summer term underway and our fantastic new Student Leadership Team settling into their official roles, I’m thrilled to share that Unconquered Peaks will be kicking off our weekly SLT interviews! It’s a fun tradition to help you get to know the amazing teams that make up this year’s SLT and I can’t think of a better way to start than by introducing our wonderful new Head Girl, Dilly Quinn!
What are you most looking forward to doing during your time on the SLT?
D: I reckon getting to know people in other year groups who I’m not super familiar with right now. Also planning events! Those are going to be loads of fun.
What’s your go-to comfort meal?
D: Toast with lots of butter and vegemite or pancakes.
What’s a niche topic you’re really passionate about?
D: The cultural significance of ‘coming of age’ novels, (including but not limited to ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’ and ‘Looking for Alaska’).
What would your biography be titled?
D: I’m still workshopping a title to be honest… but it would be much longer than necessary, and most of the long chapters would be about small, quite irrelevant events in my life.
What’s your comfort movie/TV show?
D: The Office (US) and the Dead Poets Society.
What are your top 3 favourite songs?
D: Time for Heroes (The Libertines), Brown Eyed Girl (Van Morrison), and Dreams (The Cranberries).
